Green cells indicate daytime working hours (9 a.m.–6 p.m.), while red cells mark late-night hours (before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m.). Add up to six time zones by clicking the "+ Add Time Zone" button, and remove any row with the × button.
The UTC slider is the heart of the planner. Slide it from 0 to 23 and watch every zone update in real time. Your goal is to find a UTC hour where as many zones as possible show green in the grid, meaning the meeting falls within a standard workday for those participants.
Tips for Scheduling Across Time Zones
- Standardize on UTC internally. Store all meeting times in Coordinated Universal Time and convert locally. This eliminates ambiguity around daylight saving shifts.
- Rotate inconvenient slots. If a perfect overlap does not exist, alternate which region gets the early-morning or late-evening call each week so no single team bears the burden.
- Keep a time-zone cheat sheet. Maintain a shared document listing each team member's zone, standard offset from UTC, and any daylight saving rules. Quick reference saves planning time.
- Book recurring meetings at the same UTC time. Participants can settle into a routine rather than recalculating every week.
